As a companion to the KnoxvilleWestHills.com website there is a new e-mail list for the West Hills community. This is a free service that will allow residents of West Hills a convenient way to quickly connect with neighbors and friends in West Hills. Information ranging from requests about who I should call about __________ to announcing garage sales and reporting suspicious activity. KnoxvilleWestHills (no spaces) is set up at Yahoo.com. There are two ways to join the list. One is to register for a Yahoo! ID and link it to any email addresses you wish to use for Yahoo! Groups. The other is to subscribe directly. Directions are: Option One: Registration 1. Click on the Sign Up link on any Yahoo! Groups page. 2. Complete the registration form and click on I Agree button to accept the Yahoo! Terms of Service. Note: The Yahoo! ID you choose must be unique. It does not need to match your email address. 3. You should receive an email confirming your registration. Make sure to record your Yahoo! ID and password. You will need these to sign into Yahoo! Groups. Option Two: Join the mailing list only: Yahoo recommends joining via the group page (Option One). However, if you are familiar with mailing lists, you may join only the mailing list for the group. If you choose this method, you will not have access to all of the group's web features (Photos, Files, Links, Polls, Calendar.) In addition you will not have access to the My Groups page, where you can easily manage all of your memberships and email messages. To subscribe to KnoxvilleWestHills mailing list via email, send a blank email to: KnoxvilleWestHills-subscribe@yahoogroups.com You will receive a confirmation message.
